    Our first time here, the menu was not bad. Nothing fancy, just straight up. The prices are not bad at all. It took awhile before they took our order, but Gaye was very wonderful, she was very kind and helpful. The ambiance was old, but not bad. I ordered a club sandwich with crispy fries and I really liked it. My wife had the salmon and she also liked it. Our total bill was $30, that is not bad at all. And we were satisfied.

    After the last experience eating breakfast that was less than I had hoped, we gave Sourdough another try for lunch. I ordered the Fish and Chips meal, which came with coleslaw and your choice of soup or salad. The fish and fries were pretty tasty. I didn't care for the coleslaw because my preference is sweet and creamy. The side salad before was okay, but nothing special. However, what was special was our service experience with Gaye. She is kind, fun, and wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with her and her great quality of service. While the food this time was probably 3.5-4 stars, Gaye made this a 5 star experience. We will be back for lunch or dinner again, hopefully getting to see Gaye.

    If your looking for a cheap late night bite off the strip and away from the craziness then consider this spot. My husband and I was looking for some late night steak and eggs and although we usually go to south point we weren't in the mood to make that drive and decided to come to Arizona Charlie's for the 1st time. Sourdough cafe has a small menu but they have many comfort foods that will sure to hit the spot. The daily specials are posted in front the door and can be pretty cheap if you go ahead and sign up for their rewards! If your willing to spend a little more definitely try their prime rib!! It was a big chunk of meat and was super juicy. The steak and eggs were a great deal and the hamburger and fries as well. Don't expect anything fancy here, the place could definitely use and update and whatever you do, do not drink the water you will regret it lol. 4/5 stars because the price, food and service have been good the past 2 times I came.
